The day started with opening plenaries and a key-note speech from Wyn Morgan. The key note itself received a vast amount of praise from the delegates.

This was followed by a clearly thought provoking panel session to kick start discussion

Parallel sessions took place which introduced delegates to new ideas, technologies and concepts. The different session contained a variety of presentation methods including workshops and role plays.

The exhibition space provided an opportunity for delegates to find out more about the learning and teaching support services that are accessible throughout the University

The response to the information provided in both the presentations and sessions was extremely positive, with many delegates finding new was to improve their own learning and teaching strategy.

Overall the day was very successful with a large amount of positive feedback.
The conference hashtag '#sltc16' was trending for eight hours, causing serval different trending hashtags and accounts to comment on the event.

The day ended with many people more engaged in new technologies and having networked with likeminded people who are interested in the development of the learning and teaching strategy within the university.
